A note on Japanese pronunciation:
Japanese pronunciation is easy to get the hang of. All words are made up of a combination of sounds which are either a vowel, a vowel and a consonant or the sound 'n'.
'a' is pronounced 'ah', 'i' is pronounced 'e' (like a, b, c, d, e - when you're saying the alphabet), u is pronounced like the 'oo' in soon, 'e' is pronounced 'eh' and o is pronounced like 'oh' (like l, m, n, o - when you're saying the alphabet).
The consonants are more or less the same pronunciation as English. If you want to master your Japanese pronunciation you can search online as there are a ton of resources, including video and audio files.
