Touristic places - Tsukiji fish market (築地市場) in Tokyo area

1) Tuna auction (マグロの競り)

No reservation is required to see the tuna auction at Tsukiji Fish Market, all you have to do is turn up before 5am. However, the number of people who can visit the auction area is limited to just 120 people per day. It's best to get there before 4:30am; when I went I saw some people arriving at around 4:40am who weren't allowed to see the auction. I'd recommend being there for 4:15am. The registration office and waiting room is located in the "Fish Information Center" marked on the map below.
